Ritas Cottage

Nestled among a forest of protected cypress trees, Rita's Cottage is a romantic retreat ideal for couples. The yellow-ochre painted villa is comprised of two bedrooms with a separate shower room and an open-plan living-dining area with a kitchenette, all furnished in a comfortable, traditional manner.

Lakka is just a 10 minute walk away, though a torch will be needed for trips back at night through the Cypress trees. The natural harbour, which was once a thriving fishing village, is now a popular stopover for sailing boats on their travels round the Ionian islands. Yet the port has also retained its native charm with narrow streets and squares lined with cafes and tavernas. Lakka also has some lovely quiet beaches with the aquamarine waters excellent for both swimming and watersports.

The 50m-long access drive and forest surroundings create a very private and secluded atmosphere. Although the location is a quiet and peaceful retreat, should guests require something (slightly) livelier, the town of Lakka is only a few minutes away on foot and Gaios and Loggos just a short drive. Due to its position on the hillside, the private gardens and terrace surrounding the private pool afford stunning views across the spectacular landscape.
